A Group Meeran stake in, ShipNext Solutions by investing USD 607K (INR 4.5 cr) in a pre-Series A funding round on 13 January 2022. Shipnext is an end-to-end online logistics platform founded by Clive Jose in 2015. They offer machine learning-based AI apps that automate the entire booking process. Owing to this, the customers can enjoy transparent communication and avail seamless service delivery. The startup has also launched ‘WeTruck’ and ‘WeTruck Partner’, India’s first mobile app for long-haul logistics customers and service providers. These AI applications automate the entire booking process for customers and operations for the service providers.
The company was launched in 2019 and has scaled up ever since. Group Meeran's involvement and investment have ever since been crucial to the success of the company. “We will be utilizing the funds majorly towards expansion in South India. So, this year, we will aggressively expand in Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Andhra Telangana as well" said Clive Jose, Founder, and CEO of ShipNext.
