Scoreline brings back Kerala Women's League in association with Group Meeran. !

Kerala Women’s League (KWL) is about to roll back to the pitch after a seven-year hiatus. Scoreline Sports Pvt Ltd of the Meeran Group is tying with Kerala Football Association (KFA) to offer patronage and mentorship to aspiring women football players.

The event will feature six teams and 30 matches and will be kicked off by an enthralling celebrity women's football match. Malayalam movie actors Reema Kallingal and Malavika Jayaram will lead opposite teams in a match that is to be held at Kadavanthra Regional Sports Centre on Friday.


Gokulam FC, the winners of the last league, are among other teams to compete. The winning team will get an opportunity to participate in next year's India Women's League along with a cash prize of rupees one lakh. The runner up team will get rupees 50,000. Scoreline Sports will be handling the promotional and commercial aspects of the league. The matches will be telecasted live, making this the first-ever women's league to telecast live.
